HECM Reverse Mortgage

A Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) is the most common reverse mortgage. A HECM allows homeowners over 62 years old to obtain equity from their home and turn it into cash. As long as you comply with all of the loan’s terms, you can remain in your home and use the cash for your retirement expenses. The current maximum claim limit is $970,800 (as of 1/1/2022).
